Meanwhile, another group of LISA Academy students set out on a journey along the West Coast, visiting some of the nation’s top universities. The trip included guided tours of prestigious institutions such as Stanford, UCLA, and UC Berkeley. Students gained firsthand insight into campus life. These experiences empowered students with the knowledge and inspiration to take the next step in their college-prep journey.

Taking in the Culture & History of Spain!

Other LISA Academy scholars embarked on an unforgettable journey through Spain, experiencing its cultural richness while gaining valuable insights into global education and career opportunities. From exploring the grandeur of the Royal Palace of Madrid and the breathtaking Almudena Cathedral to walking the historic streets of Toledo and Segovia, students stepped back in time to witness Spain’s incredible heritage. A visit to Alcalá de Henares, the birthplace of Miguel de Cervantes, brought literature to life, while an afternoon at the Prado Museum provided a deeper appreciation for world-class art. The adventure continued with a fun-filled day at Parque Warner, followed by an exploration of the medieval wonders of Ávila and Salamanca.

Beyond the sightseeing, this immersive experience allowed students to practice their Spanish language skills, engage with local culture, and develop a deeper understanding of world history.
